Life Walk Lesson 120: God's Most Comforting Words

Life Walk Lesson 120: God's Most Comforting Words

Video Version
In this video, all Scriptures were taken from the Amplified Classic Version of the Holy Bible, and set to the sounds of the Ocean.

In the Lesson, I have placed the Scriptures in their Biblical Order
for your studying convenience.

One of the most comforting things a child can hear is when Daddy holds the child close and wipes the tears with his own hands, and says "Everything's going to be okay."

When I read Zechariah 1:13, for example, it reminds me of that moment in my childhood. Because our Father in Heaven, our Daddy's got this, and everything is going to be okay.

Centuries ago, another moment in time, recorded in 2 Enoch
[also known as, Slavonic Enoch], reflects the same sentiment.
In Chapter 22:10 of The Book of the Secrets of Enoch [2Enoch] God asks the angel to "Bring out the books from My store-houses, and a reed of quick-writing, and give it to Enoch, and deliver to him the choice and comforting books out of [*your, or] My hand."
[*depending on the translation]

Enoch was instructed to write down what was in these books --
everything God created and did, for our benefit and encouragement.
Another translation of that passage says the books were fragrant with myrrh.

It is with this in mine, and that God particularly loves gracious, kind, and comforting words, that I end this series of Bible Lessons with the Gracious, Kind, Comforting, Encouraging, and Empowering Promise of God.
