Life Walk Lesson 32 Salvation

Life Walk Bible Lesson 32 — Salvation

Salvation

Genesis 1:29-30

“Then God said, ‘Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

30 and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food;’ and it was so.”

Isaiah 59:1

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that He cannot hear.”

Isaiah 59:19-21

19 “So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising sun, for He will come like a rushing stream which the wind of the Lord drives.

20 A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgressions in Jacob,’ declares the Lord.

21‘As for Me, this is My covenant with them,’ says the Lord: ‘My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of you offspring’s offspring,’ says the Lord, ‘from now and forever.’”

Romans 11:28-29

28 “From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;

29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

Isaiah 60:1-22 —A Glorified Zion

Isaiah 62:1-12 —Zion’s Glory and New Name

Isaiah 63:7-9

7 “I shall make mention of the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has granted us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has granted them according to His compassion and according to the abundance of His lovingkindnesses.

8 For He said, ‘Surely, they are My people, sons who will not deal falsely.’ So He became their Savior.

9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His mercy He redeemed them, and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old.”

Isaiah 64:1-5

1 “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence—

2 As fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil — to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!

3 When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence.

4 For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.

5 You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, who remembers You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned, we continued in them a long time;

And shall we be saved?”

1Corinthians 2:9-12

9 “but just as it is written, ‘Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.’

10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,”

Isaiah 65:1

“I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here am I, here am I,’ to a nation which did not call on My name.”

Isaiah 65:8-10

8 “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is benefit in it,’ so I will act on behalf of My servants in order to not destroy all of them.

9 I will bring forth offspring from Jacob, and an heir of My mountains from Judah; even My chosen ones shall inherit it, and My servants will dwell there.

10 Sharon will be a pasture land for flocks, and the valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for My people who seek Me.”

Isaiah 11:1-10 —The Righteous Reign of the Branch

Isaiah 66:10-14

10 “‘Render the hearts of this people insensitive, their ears dull, and their eyes dim, otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and return and be healed.’

11 Then I said, ‘Lord, how long?’ And He answered, ‘Until cities are devastated and without inhabitant, houses are without people and the land is utterly desolate,

12 the Lord has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.

13 Yet there will be a tenth portion in it, and it will again be subject to burning,

like a terebinth or an oak whose stump remains when it is felled. The holy seed is its stump.”
