Life Walk Lesson 93 The Blessing of the Lord

Life Walk Lesson 93: The Blessing of the Lord

"The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and He addeth no sorrow with it." Proverbs 10:22 [KJV]

God gives no sorrow to those whom He blesses. Sorrow is not a gift from the Holy Spirit when we are blessed by God. In fact, when God blesses His children it becomes a continual, sustained, and sustainable, blessing so that His children can bless their children, and grandchildren, and so on.

Every good gift comes from the Lord and every blessing holds within it the principal of seed, time and harvest.

We have been given every plant with seed in it so that our life's work and productivity is sustainable. We then bless our descendants with a wealth of gained knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and as a good steward over the physical blessings God has given us, we bless them with these as well.

Surely, then, the blessing of the Lord maketh rich, and as He adds no sorrow to it, it goes without saying that He addeth joy upon joy to it, and from glory to glory it increases exponentially until there is no room to contain it.

The blessing of the Lord simply must be shared.

What is the blessing of the Lord, you ask? In Genesis 12:2-3 God speaks to Abraham, and ultimately his descendants to whom God would reiterate this blessing, and to us who are now, in the faith, Abraham's children:

2 "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

The only one who curses that which God has blessed is the devil -- who comes to steal, kill ,and destroy whatever he can get his hands on through his demonic forces -- which brings God's children sorrow.

Believe God for yourself, and for your nation, for Jesus said, You will do greater things than these. The harvest on greater things will be greater than we can ask, think, or imagine. Have faith in God! Seek first His Kingdom, and all these things will be added, with great joy, because that's how God thinks about blessing us.
